Although netbooks aren't for everyone, they most certainly serve a purpose for any type of user. As a musician and graphic designer I wouldn't even turn mine on but for the techie and everyday user in me, it's perfect. The fact that it's half the size of a standard laptop is nice. I can fit it in my travel bag along with everything else I tend to travel with and not need a second bag solely for a computer.
